Peter Milo was raised in a Brooklyn neighborhood that you’ve probably never heard of.
When he was a teenager his family relocated to the Pocono Mountains, he suffered there for almost ten years. When he was old enough he ran back to New York City.
For another ten years he bounced around the five boroughs.
In the search for a steady paycheck, Peter floated around from job to job, industry to industry. Some career highlights include: envelope maker at a factory, activist (both of jobs lasted about two days each), photojournalist, video game tester, comment moderator, and help desk tech support.
He completed his degree at The New School, where he concentrated on creative writing, screenwriting, and photography. Currently he’s working on his first novel, and is studying for an MA in Biography and Memoir.
Peter currently resides on the cusp of Southern Brooklyn with his partner. Occasionally, they debate on adopting a cat — he’d prefer a beagle.
His photographic work can be seen on his other site: www.garbageclown.com.
